Well, for the weekend of 8/19-8/22 we originally planned to go to Long Beach at the coast, but the weather went bad (55F and rain), so we decided to go east to warmer weather. So we went camping at Lake Wenatchee on the east side of the cascade mountain range. Our friends Martina and Jay joined us as well. The weather was nice, not super warm, as I did not realize the lake was still higher in the mountains than the town of Wenatchee. However it was nice and teh camp site in the woods protected us fom some strong winds. That said, we weren't able to go swimming in the lake - what a bummer. But we had a good time anyways and we're looking forward to a future camping trip.
